Railroad Spike Driver – 1-1/8" Hex × 6" Shank

Cup-style railroad spike driver for 1-1/8" hex pneumatic breakers and paving breakers. The hollow driving head seats over the spike head so every blow lands square, helping reduce bounce and slipping off the spike. Forged and heat-treated in Canada for track crews that drive spikes all day.

Use it to drive new track spikes and re-spike loose or lifted rail into wood or composite ties during track construction, tie replacement and maintenance-of-way (MOW) work. It is a practical, air-powered alternative to swinging a spike maul, and it works with the 1-1/8" hex breaker your crew may already have on the truck.

Key Features

  • Hollow cup head centres the blow on the spike head
  • Forged steel body, heat-treated for impact resistance and long service life
  • 1-1/8" hex shank, 6" long, with round retainer collar for pneumatic breakers
  • One-piece construction, with no welded or threaded joints to fail under impact
  • Manufactured in Canada by Madido
